These are letters about specific covers, windows, and lists — not star widgets. One of them still stings, which is why it is here.
I sent the variant letter and the Sunday close time. The desk wrote back that the 1:50 was already marked closed on the host sheet, so I shifted to the connecting cover instead of waiting for a hold that was never going to exist.

In May a collector arrived with three printed variant letters for the same Avengers tie-in and a drop window that opened the next evening. The briefing hour was spent discarding the foil logo that did not belong to the connecting set. The reservation that followed named one cover. The outcome note the next week said held, quantity one. The collector later wrote that the hour felt slow. It was. The listing had mixed two artist credits on one token page, and Mei-Ling would not file until the file matched one credit.
A Chiang Mai collector asked for a seven-cover event bundle. Two windows had already closed. Arthit’s list kept those two on the gap page instead of substituting a later reprint with similar trade dress. The collector used the gap list at a second drop. That is the evidence we prefer: a list that stayed ugly and stayed true.
